The Power of Investing In Yourself

Uncategorized Dec 02, 2021

I was confronted with a question recently: Why am I so excited to see my friends/clients/family invest in themselves while reluctant to make similar investments in myself?

I felt handcuffed. It was one of those questions that I had to really think about.

When my clients make decisions to join a gym, confront their boss, quit their jobs to build a business – I rejoice! They are making huge strides that reinforce their personal value.

When my family members take risks and invest their hard earned resources into courses, programs, teachings, etc. There’s no sense of judgement on my end – just delight.

So why oh why do we joyfully cheer those around us to make investments in themselves and pump the brakes any time we get an opportunity to invest in our own lives? Hard to say – but whatever the reason/cause may be – I can officially say I’m done with it.

The picture above is from a recent mastermind I attended in Austin, TX. This is where I was confronted with that piercing question, and it is where I made a decision: I will not hesitate to invest in myself again.

It’s been a game-changer, and I do not say that lightly. On a personal level, I’ve never had more confidence and clarity about what God has put me on this earth to accomplish. I even feel more present in my relationships.

That alone is worth just about any size of investment. But you know what’s really cool? DeepClean has grown tremendously. In the last few months, we have had an influx of doctors, attorneys, and athletes. Each of them with a major call on their life and a vicious desire to obliterate pornography from their life. Working with these kinds of individuals is a dream come true for me – I’ve always believed these are the kinds of people I have been called to serve.

So here is the deal – your freedom from pornography does not come with a price. It comes with an INVESTMENT. Yes, it means the expenditure of financial resources – but it is hardly an expenditure. In reality, it is sowing seeds into a future of better relationships, a deeper relationship with God, stronger performance at work, and more confidence in yourself and your calling.

If that isn’t worth the price, I’m not sure what is. Don’t let the time/finance cost ever stop you from making life-changing investments – I promise you will not regret it.

And if you think that DeepClean might be the right investment to help you get free of porn and become the man God has made you to be, you can book a time in my calendar here.
