The Best Part about 6 years of Freedom

Uncategorized Mar 24, 2022

Last month marked 6 years since my last relapse. I can hardly believe it!

In those 2200+ days, I have:

  • Married the woman of my dreams
  • Launched a business that’s helped hundreds of guys get free
  • Moved to Jamaica (for 6 months)
  • Bought a house by the beach
  • Dramatically improved my fitness
  • Traveled to 10+ countries

The list could go on.

Gee, thanks Sathiya… you wrote this post to brag about how great your life is now that you’re free of porn?

Not at all. But I STILL remember what it was like to be addicted. To be afraid of getting caught and losing my job. To enter into marriage with hidden baggage that could destroy our intimacy.

The sense of worthlessness and shame lingering every single day, especially after slips. And the pure frustration that my relationship with God was suffering as a result.

I’m often asked, “what’s the best thing about being free?” and the answer always comes back to the same thing: security. To be confident in myself, without anything to hide, is the best feeling in the world.

So why am I writing this?

Because I want you to see what’s possible. The truth is that I am nothing special. I don’t have special abilities or personas that have brought this kind of freedom. All I did was yield my heart, engage in a proven process, and told God I would pay whatever price was necessary to be free.

I know that you have a call on your life. I know you have loved ones whose lives will be better when you get free. Remember them on the days when things are hard. Think about the people you’d be able to reach and impact if porn was out of the way.

And if you know that your own strength alone is simply not enough to experience lasting freedom, then watch this quick 30 minute training about the DeepClean system and book a time in my calendar to discuss what it would look like for you to get full free of porn in 2022.

Cheering you on,
